So the compost toilet Is fully installed.

Like any bus project we have tackled, it has NOT been simple. It has taken FOREVER and snags and frustrations have been the forefront of this project.

But it’s over,it’s in, and it works!

The stinky smell of the black tank is gone! Water waste is gone! We’ve traded flushes for spinning the wheel of poo, as I like to call it.

Overall we are very happy with it.

Just one more step to being self sufficient. Off grid life here we come!!

Since the install we have dumped it out several times. Pretty seamless process. So no complaints from this wandering mama.

I honestly never even thought about a compost toilet. I think every camper should install one…and maybe even every home!!!
